Create a competitive analysis of two to three of your major competitors/peers.





I'd rather call them "peers" than "competitors, but you know what I mean. There's space for all of us, but we are all going to thrive much better if we aren't utilizing all the SAME space. And utilizing a different space means knowing exactly who is out there doing similar work to you and how you're different from them. There are a bajillion ways to do a competitive analysis (and you can get outrageously deep - if you're interested in this, let me know and I'll give you some ways to do it), but I think the simplest way is to utilize the section in the 90 Day Marketing Plan Template titled "Peer Analysis". It's not overly complex, but it will get you thinking about how to differentiate yourself and your business, if you need to.
